Gorham Sterling Silver Snowflake 46 Years

Posted by Gary Deininger on 3rd Jan 2016

My father started collecting the Gorham Annual Sterling Silver Snowflake in 1970, the introductory year to this beautiful ornament. He continued to purchase every year until I took over around 1993 and i have continued ever since. The snowflake is so beautiful and to have all 46 hanging from the tree is so special. I look forward to continuing this great tradition.

    Great Family Heirlooms

We first received these special Christmas ornaments from my parents. Now we give them to our children each Christmas. They are so special for our family and they increase in value. Beautiful works of art.

    Gorham Annual Silver Snowflake Ornament

I have been collecting these Gorham snowflakes since I was first married. They are just beautiful but the high cost has me reconsidering the annual purchase. However, the once a year discount helps me keep some of the costs down. Thank you!

    Quality decreasing on this product

Posted by Alan Rister on 30th Aug 2015

We have been collecting the Gorham annual sterling silver snowflake ornaments since 1980. Sorry to report that the quality level (thickness and weight of the silver, beauty of the design) seems to be sliding for many years now. Not sure how long we can continue to invest a lot of money in a product that is not nearly as satisfactory as it once was.
