2019 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate,
designed by Dag Samsund, is titled Chopping
Wood.

The Christmas plate shows a man in warm
clothes chopping wood for the stove and
oven of the house.
In the background we see the cozy house,
where smoke is rising from the chimney
and the warmth glow from the windows.
The roof and the yard in front of the
house are covered by a fine layer of snow.
The house lies serenely at the edge of the
forest with a view of snowclad pines and
naked tree trunks.

The Royal Copenhagen Annual Christmas Plaquette for 2019 is the 36th Edition designed by Sven Vestergaard. It is titled Doves of Peace. 3.25"

The plate shows a meeting between a large
beautiful horse and a small rabbit on a
snowcovered field. The horse slowly bends
its large head down to the rabbit to
carefully snif it. Despite the difference
in size of the two, they can easily be
friends and the rabbit sits confidently
in front of the horse.
Horses are pack animals and do not like
being alone. Thus the rabbot can be a
welcome friend on the large field, where
they can enjoy the snow together.
In the background we see the trees of the
forestand the entire scenery is lit by the
clearest moonlight.
